Young for up to five years, this wine has a deep garnet color, with aromas of dark berries, currant and blueberry, supported by fragrances of pepper and spice.
After 5 to 7 years, this wine softens in the mouth and is fruity, round and silky with a lot of fullness and vigor. Its aromas take on more intense notes of currant, forest floor, and charred wood, while remaining very concentrated.
This wine pairs well with: your most seasoned plates such as wild game. It pairs marvelously with garlic lamb, olive duck, thyme roasted rabbit, or roasted quail.
